Inbox

Inbox is the dedicated review surface for external connector conversations.

It keeps connector traffic separate from your main operator chats.

Why Inbox Exists

Without Inbox, direct connector messages would blur together with the operator's own chats.

Inbox gives you:

  • isolated sender threads for external contacts
  • platform filtering
  • connector-instance switching
  • transcript review outside the main chat list
  • sender and ownership controls tied to the selected connector

Session Isolation

For direct external senders:

  • the connector owner or self-chat can stay on the main agent thread
  • other senders get isolated direct connector sessions in Inbox
  • those sessions default to session-scoped memory

This prevents one external sender from contaminating another sender's context.

Relationship to Connectors

  • Connectors is the setup and policy surface.
  • Inbox is the day-to-day conversation review surface.

See Connectors for connector creation, routing, and access policy details.
